<\/p>\n

Group lessons*:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The group course requires preparation, space rental and the hiring of assistants. In addition, once your place is reserved, it is no longer available to another potential customer, as the number of places is limited. For this reason, full payment is due upon registration, and is subject to the following cancellation conditions:<\/p>\n

Any cancellation must be made at least 10 working days before<\/strong> the start date of the course for which you are enrolled.
\nFor any cancellation between 5 and 10 working days in advance, the payment may be applied to another service.
\nFor any cancellation less than 5 working days in advance, the total amount is non-refundable.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dog showing blatant aggression in a group class:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As part of any group class, if a dog demonstrates blatant aggression towards a human or another dog, we reserve the right to expel that dog for the comfort and safety of all other participants. In the event that your dog is expelled from a group class, you will be able to choose from:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Continue to attend the class without your dog in order to learn the exercises and then practice them with your dog at home<\/li>\n
  2. Change for a private course at home. In the case of the Obedience-Beginner group course, an amount corresponding to the expected price of the “Canine ABC” video set will be credited to the purchase price of the private course.<\/li>\n
  3. Cancel your participation. However, the course is non-refundable for the reasons listed above<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Private lessons*:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The deposit equivalent to the first session and the series of videos is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.*<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The difference for the full course is due at least 48 working hours before the 2nd session. Otherwise, the 2nd session might be postponed to a later date.<\/p>\n

    In the event of interruption of the course by the client 48 hours or more before the 2nd session, the 2nd payment will not be required. However, if the 2nd payment has already been made, it will be refunded, less an administration fee as described below under the section \u201cAdministration fee for all refunds\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Certification of completed courses (for dogs identified as potentially dangerous by your municipality’s by-law):<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The client must meet 3 conditions in order to obtain the certification requested by the municipality:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1.1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Group classes: Must have attended at least the first 5 practical classes<\/strong> out of the 6 offered<\/p>\n

    1.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Private Lesson: Must have received all<\/strong> sessions of the Private Lesson<\/p>\n

    2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must have watched all the courses of the online videos<\/p>\n

    3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pass the theoretical and practical evaluation test given privately at the end of your course<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Behavioural Packages*:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Behavioural Package – Easy:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The package is payable in 2 instalments.
    \n2-Installment Plan:
    \nThe deposit equivalent to the first session and the series of videos is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.*
    \n<\/strong>The difference for the full package is due at least 48 business hours before the 2nd session.
    \nIn the event of interruption of the package by the client 48 hours or more before the 2nd session, the 2nd payment will not be required. However, if the 2nd payment has already been made, it will be refunded, less an administration fee as described below under the section \u201cAdministration fee for all refunds\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Behavioural package – Difficult:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The package is payable in 4 instalments
    \n4 instalment plan:
    \nThe deposit equivalent to the first session and the series of videos is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.*
    \n<\/strong>The difference for the full package is due according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • 2nd payment at least 48 working hours before the start of the 2nd session of the package.<\/li>\n
    • 3rd payment at least 48 working hours before the start of the session following the first 5h30 of the package.<\/li>\n
    • 4th payment at least 48 working hours before the start of the session following the first 8:30 hours of the package.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If the customer interrupts the package 48 hours or more before the next payment is due, the difference in the package will not be required.
      \nHowever, if the next payment has already been made, it will be refunded, minus an administration fee as described below under the section \u201cAdministration fee for all refunds\u201d<\/strong>.
      \nPlease note that as the payment system is not linked to the calendar, automatic reminders from the payment system may be sent to the client before the deadline indicated here. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Overtime:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Since the private class or packages contain a lot of information and several exercises to teach you, every minute of your package (or class) is precious. In fact, many of your questions will be answered during the course (or package). For this reason, it is recommended that you take note of your questions and send them by email or ask them at the end of the sessions.<\/p>\n

      Any additional time spent at your home will be billed at the current hourly rate (in 15-minutes increments) and must be paid at the end of the session before the dog trainer leaves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      <\/b><\/p>\n

      Cancellation or postponement of appointments:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      We ask that you notify us of your intention to cancel or postpone an appointment at least 48 hours in advance<\/strong> except in the following cases:
      \nFor an appointment scheduled on a Monday, notify us before the previous Friday at 5:00 pm.
      \nFor an appointment scheduled on a Tuesday, notify us before the previous Saturday at 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

      You will be charged 50% of the consultation price if you have to cancel or postpone the appointment between 24 and 48 hours in advance, except:
      \n<\/strong>For an appointment scheduled on Monday: between Friday 5:00 pm and Saturday 5:00 pm.
      \nFor an appointment scheduled on Tuesday: between Saturday 5:00 pm and Sunday 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

      You will be charged the full amount of the consultation for any appointment cancelled or postponed less than 24 hours in advance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Refund requests (private lessons and behavioural packages):<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      All requests for refunds on the services mentioned in the title are subject to an administration fee as described below under the section \u201cAdministration fee for all refunds\u201d<\/strong>.
      \nSessions that have already taken place will be invoiced at the hourly rate in effect at the time of the cancellation request.
      \nAny video content included in the package or course is non-refundable and will be charged at the price in effect at the time of the cancellation request. See the “Online Video Content (Internet)” section below for full details<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Administration fee for ALL refunds:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      Any refund request is subject to an administration fee of 10% of the total original invoice, in addition to the other deductions indicated above.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Maximum durations of private lessons and packages & recommendations:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      In order to be effective in the evolution of your companion’s behavior and\/or training and thus offer you the maximum chance of success in achieving your goals, it is recommended not to space the meetings more than 2 weeks apart and to practice the suggested training one or more times a day between each session. For this reason, we ask that all meetings be taken within the following maximum time frames:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • 4 \u2013 6 hours: ideally 5-10 weeks \u2013 maximum allowed: 18 weeks<\/li>\n
      • 6 -11 hours: ideally 10-20 weeks \u2013 maximum allowed: 40 weeks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Once the maximum duration is reached, all sessions that have not yet been scheduled will then be considered cancelled by the customer.
        \nWe reserve the right to consider certain exceptions as long as they have been discussed before the end of the maximum period.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        <\/p>\n

        *Online video content (internet):<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        Any video content included in a package, course or other training is non-refundable, once online access is completed. Delivery of said online access is deemed to have been completed once the email containing the access keys has been sent to the customer.<\/p>\n

        Copyright, Ownership and Use of Written, Audio and Video Materials:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        The customer agrees to use any audio, video or written content provided to him\/her as part of the services rendered by Many Humans Many Dogs\/Des Humains et des Chiens (previously: One Man Many Dogs\/Un Homme et des Chiens), solely for his\/her personal use and not to give it, share or copy it in any way to a third party.<\/p>\n

        The customer agrees that intellectual property in all its forms such as patents, copyrights and neighboring rights, communication rights, software, designs, know-how, confidential information, secrets, trademarks, transfers of rights, and other forms related to any services rendered to it in connection with this purchase, remain the property of Many Humans Many Dogs\/Des Humains et des Chiens (previously: One Man Many Dogs\/Un Homme et des Chiens).<\/p>\n

        Notes:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        We reserve the right to reconsider these policies in the event of cancellation or postponement due to force majeure.<\/p>\n

        Each case will be considered carefully.<\/p>\n
